The house of Isautier was proud to be awarded 3 new medals, as well as a prestigious prize, at the 16th San Francisco World Spirit Competition 2016!
The San Francisco World Spirit Competition is considered to be one of the most influential events in the spirits sector.
From the 17th to 20th March, 39 experts tasted and assessed 1,850 spirits. The 16th edition of the competition was the biggest since it was created in 2000.
After four days of blind-tests, food and drink critics, mixologists and other experts sitting on the jury gave their verdict on Isautier products:
Rhum Blanc Agricole 55° (55° White agricultural rum): ‘BEST AGRICULTURAL RUM’: the best agricultural rum of all the agricultural rums competing this year. Double gold medal → exceptional product. The judges unanimously awarded Isautier a gold medal.
Rhum Vieux 7 ans (7-year-old aged rum): Gold medal → an excellent product of very high standard.
Rhum Vieux Edition Louis & Charles (Louis & Charles aged rum): Silver medal → a finely balanced rum, far above average.
The products awarded medals during this competition represented some of the best the world over. The medals of the SFWSC are now represent recognition of international excellence.
